NOW OPEN! NEW 18 HOLE “PRO” LAYOUT
3 COURSES IN 1! 18 HOLE PRO COURSE, 9 HOLE FAMILY-FRIENDLY LAYOUT AND A 12 HOLE ADVANCED COURSE
This beginner and family-friendly layout will be found at the top of the avenue and is overlooked by the historic and majestic Tudor House. The course will also test the more experienced player with a mixture of tight, wooded holes, some superb elevation changes and carefully placed baskets. This is Devon and Cornwall’s first permanent course and ideally showcases the fun and exciting sport of Disc Golf! It features designated tee-off areas with marker posts and top-of-the-range targets favoured by many pro courses, the DisCatcher from Innova. The opening of the 18 hole “pro” course cements ME as a top-class disc golf venue and recently hosted the BDGA National Matchplay Championships in October 2015.

All prices include free equipment hire*. Card details or cash required as a security deposit.
*one disc per person. Extra discs recommended for the 18 hole course can be hired for £2 each.
We ask that you phone ahead/book online where possible to ensure that we are open, especially in the winter when inclement weather may affect our schedule.

When visiting Mount Edgcumbe to play disc golf we recommend the following
A course for all fitness levels. The courses are slightly to very undulating and require a moderate to good level of fitness. The 18 hole “pro” course is a more demanding walk and, with views over Rame and Plymouth that are second to none, you can enjoy the disc golf experience even more. All age groups are encouraged to utilise the “pro” course, but please understand that this will take more time and will test your disc golf skills to the max. See the guide below for approx timings (we suggest that smaller children should play to the basket from a distance suitable to their strength and size). Please ask for an Aerobie, for anyone new to disc golf as this will travel a lot further.

Family/Beginners Course, Moderate Fitness Level Req’d, 60-75 mins (approx duration)
Improvers Course, Moderate Fitness Level Req’d, 80-90 mins (approx duration)
Pro Course, Moderate-Good Fitness Level Req’d, 180+ mins (approx duration)
Wear suitable clothing. The course is set in beautiful grounds and, as the course meanders through woodland; brambles and nettles are unavoidable. All players should wear some type of leg covering. Sturdy shoes are also recommended, wellies after wet weather.
Always put safety first. A flying disc has the potential to injure. Please read all tee signs and make sure to throw only when the flight area is free of persons, pets and vehicles. If in doubt, it is better to wait. Do not climb trees to retrieve discs. Let us know where it is and we will retrieve it.
If you intend to bring a group please book first! We can offer you a choice of times and can include some disc golf instruction all at preferential rates.
MINI DISC GOLF
iDEAL FOR YOUNG CHILDREN – GREAT FUN! .
Our new mini disc golf course is already proving popular. Great for those wanting to experience disc golf when time is short, or as a warm-up for the longer courses, this six-hole layout features several elevation changes and undulating terrain making it an ideal training ground for novices and pro’s alike. This course utilises the Innova Traveller baskets for the same chain-grabbing qualities as the big courses. Take on friends and family in the Ace Run Challenge! Ask in-store for details.
FLYERS SHOP
All visitors to the course or putting green should come to our Flyers Shop. This is located behind the putting green and we will be there to welcome you! As well as equipping you for a game on the courses, you will also discover a good range of golf, ultimate and recreational discs. We also stock a great range of outdoor toys including HQ kites, Nerf Guns and Flying toys and the ultimate product for outdoor fun, day or night…..the Whistle Flashcopter!!
